How it works

Once you are registered with us, we do our best to find you tuition clients and students.

When we find a client we will contact you. More specifically, we contact the `optimal' tutor for the client, which might or might not be you depending on the subject, level, location and your willingness to travel (amongst other factors).

As a tutor you are not employed by LWS. You are self-employed. You collect payment directly from the client at the end of each tutoring session. The times and frequency of lessons is determined directly by you and and the client, maximising your freedom to carry on with other commitments that you might have.

At the end of each month you pay us commission based upon the number of hours that you taught. This commission can be paid either electronically online or as a cheque sent to us in the post, the choice being yours. You must fill in a timesheet as well so that we know that clients are receiving the tuition that they requested of us.

The feedback that we get from you and from your clients goes back into our system. Not surprisingly, positive feedback increases the likelihood that we will ring you again.
