Group rates

For each additional pupil taught at the same lesson, either at the same or a lower level, there will be a charge of £7.00 per hour.

Travel

Tutors may charge up to £5.00 for travel, per visit. If arranged between the client and tutor, lessons may also take place at the tutor’s home, in which case travel expenses would not apply.

Cancellation

As a courtesy to tutors, who often spend as much time preparing for a lesson as they do giving it, you are expected to pay half of the normal fee for any lesson cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time. Moreover, should the tutor show up at your door before learning that a lesson has been cancelled, you are obliged to pay him or her both for the entire lesson and for any travel expenses.
